GED® Testing in Maine

Are you ready to take your GED® exam in Maine? The exam is only given in pencil and paper format. Usually in order to take the GED® exam the test taker must be older than 17 years old. The GED® testing fee in the state of Maine varies from $40 to $90.

The GED® examination covers five topics: reading, writing, math, science and social studies. Each section awards a score between 200-800. Most states require students to get a score of 410 on each of the five tests and an overall average of 450 for the GED® exam to pass.
